Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant - Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus - Assist guests with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests - Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information about the restaurant - Maintain a clean and organized host/host station - Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations - Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary - Provide excellent customer service and create a positive dining experience for guests Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or customer service roles preferred - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members - Familiarity with Toast POS is a plus - Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment - Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle phone reservations efficiently - Strong guest relations skills to ensure customer satisfaction - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant Note:
